About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking transitioning service members for a SkillBridge fellowship as an Enterprise Product Owner within their Digital Portfolio Office. This is an opportunity to join a Fortune 500 aviation company in a career path with considerable long-term growth.

The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience operating as a centralized Product Owner, working across multiple business units and agile squads.

The Role
As a SkillBridge Enterprise Product Owner, you will help translate enterprise product strategy into actionable development work across multiple squads. You will operate within an agile framework, collaborating with product leaders, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital initiatives.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in complexity, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and wants to build a strong foundation in enterprise product management.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Product Execution
- Translate high-level product strategy into actionable backlogs
- Develop clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Manage feature delivery through sprint cycles and stakeholder feedback
- Lead sprint demos and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Coordinate across Product Owners to maintain enterprise-level consistency
Cross-Squad Collaboration
- Participate in and lead agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Serve as a coordination point across multiple squads
- Contribute to Product Owner best practices and knowledge sharing
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into product iterations
- Use data-driven insights to support feature prioritization
Agile Advocacy
- Promote agile best practices across squads
- Utilize enterprise tools such as Agility and Aha!
- Support continuous improvement and adaptability as priorities evolve
Eligibility & Requirements
Must-Have
- Actively transitioning service member
- Approved and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program
- Able to complete SkillBridge onsite in Atlanta, GA
- Reliable means of transportation to commute daily
- Strong professional communication and leadership presence
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in product or program ownership, agile delivery, or related leadership
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management
- Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
