About the Role
Our client, a telecommunications company, is hiring Entry-Level IT Technicians to support technical operations and customer-facing IT support.
This role is a military spouse fellowship opportunity designed as an entry point into IT, with a structured training period and clear path toward full-time employment and advancement.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Support customer or internal IT-related inquiries
- Follow structured workflows for issue resolution
- Document and track technical issues as needed
- Work within a fast-paced support environment
Training & Schedule
- Training: First 6 weeks, Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4:30 PM CST
- Work Schedule (post-training):
- May include weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Two consecutive days off
What They’re Looking For
- CompTIA certification required (A+, Network+, or Security+)
- Interest in starting or growing a career in IT
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
Compensation & Path
- First 90 days: $20/hour
- Post-fellowship (~1 month): $16.50/hour
- Full-time conversion (4–4.5 months): $17/hour + benefits
- + $1/hour for Spanish fluency
